A White High School Teacher Is In Trouble For Saying That All White People Are Racist During Class

EagNews-    A student at the school who did not want to be identified recently used her cell phone to record a classroom lecture at Norman North High School in which her teacher, who also is not identified, explained how to “heal the racial divide,” KFOR reports.

The lecture began with a video about the “Mistreatment of Native Americans” that prompted the student to record the lesson and ended with the teacher’s lecture about racism.

In the video, a man “pulls out this globe with a bottle of white out and marks over a country or a piece of country and puts his name on it,” the student said.

“So he was basically comparing what he had done to the globe to what we did to America,” she said.

When her teacher laid out his theories of racism afterwards, the student said she was stunned.

“To be white is to be racist, period,” the teacher said in the recording. “Am I racist? I say yea. I don’t want to be. It’s not like choose to be racist, but do I do things because of the way I was raised?”




Uhhh, what fucking planet am I on? Are we really crying foul because a white teacher is telling predominantly white kids that there forefathers are predominantly white, racist dicks that actively kept minorities from being given the same luxuries they had? What's the problem with that? Are we causing our youth too much emotional pain by telling them the truth? Trust me they'll still appreciate his day off just as much after they learn that Christopher Columbus was a murdering, raping, enslaving, territorial kleptomaniac. How many times can you talk about the Boston Tea Party before you allude to other, more important aspects of this country's history? You know, such as aspects that are still having a significant impact on society to this day. 

Let me let you in on a little secret. All white people are - at least a little bit - racist. Not like "Donald Trump" racist or "throw a pillow case over your head" racist, but there's not a white person out there that can truly understand the African American, Hispanic, Asian, or Native American experience. They can attempt to sympathize with it - and I do - but they'll never fully "get it". So yeah, the wool is at least slightly pulled over every single caucasian person's eyes - to varying degrees, of course - simply because life is inherently easier for us. 

'Racist' is definitely a stronger term than I would use, but every single white person is a little bit ignorant of how shitty and unfair the world can be. That's not an insult, it's a privilege that - by no fault of our own - has been granted to us by our fucking skin color. There's nothing wrong with acknowledging that. In fact, failing to acknowledge that makes you even more racist.

This loser that recorded his teacher trying to teach his class an important lesson only to run to the nearest news station? I guarantee he was the most racist little shitbag in the entire room, and I feel comfortable saying that because only racist people react so poorly to being called racist. That's rule #1 of racism. If someone calls you a racist and you feel the need to publicly defend yourself with a bunch of reasons why you can't be racist without showing your face (like a certain white supremacist group I have heard of) or letting people hear your voice then you probably are a prejudice piece of shit. So maybe it wouldn't hurt to sit down, shut the fuck up, and learn a little something about yourself instead of whining to your parents that your teacher made you feel bad about your great-great-grandfather's use of the N word.

Plus, everybody's a litttttttle bit racist....
