Source- “I feel bad about it. I feel bad for Holly. I don’t know if Holly really knows what she lost. I think she has so much faith in the people that surround her, she feels like, ‘Well, they got me this far.’
“We had this meeting, and Holly wasn’t even in it. Holly, that’s your life. You should be in that meeting. Don’t leave it to these people. Anyway, Holly made a lot of money. She accomplished great things, she beat Ronda Rousey. But it could have been so much bigger for her, and the sad part is, I don’t think she even knows it.” -Dana White Wait, did the President and CEO of the Ultimate FIGHTING Championships just passive aggressively blame a FIGHTER for - hold on to your hats now - wanting to FIGHT? God forbid Holly Holm ruined his chance at a monster payday by - gasp - insisting on doing her job. I can't believe she let her incessant need to compete stand in the way of her rematch with a fighter that's basically took a year long hiatus because she lost once. How selfish of her not to wait around for Ronda Rousey to step off the ledge and finish filming half-a-dozen crappy movies and countless emotional television appearances. She should have just sat on her thumb, watched the seasons turn, and wasted a precious year of her mid-30's waiting for an apparent shell of a human being to put her life back together. After all, someone's gotta be to blame for Dana White missing out on a rematch that could have easily racked up 2 million PPV's, and it damn sure ain't gonna be the show horse he is constantly catering to. "Ronda's a bad ass". "Ronda will be back and better than ever". "We are going to work on getting Ronda to push up her return". Hey Dana, Ronda doesn't care about you. Hell, she won't even answer a single question about you. Maybe stop sucking her proverbial dick for two seconds and realize that she is the reason that Holly Holm said "fuck this" and potentially left millions on the table to fight someone else. Holm is the type of employee that should be praised, not the type that should criticized. It's Rousey that's basically been on maternity leave after giving birth to a shitty acting career that coincidentally followed a fight in which she got her brain scrambled. You think you could toss a critique her way considering the fact that she's no longer the only golden ticket in the women's division, yet she is the only one throwing a monkey wrench into your company's future plans?
