It got a smirk out of me. A topical joke that incorporates a pertinent - albeit ridiculous - sports news story as well as the most relevant piece of pop culture. I can appreciate his sense of humor, but there's really one word of Cam Jordan's entire tweet that truly matters... "When". I'm glad someone's confident, because the window is a lot more closed than it is open. The amount of jerseys that Drew Brees is going to take off for the rest of his career is dwindling, and Lord willing that at least one of them will be worth stealing. I think even the owner himself would be cool with his defensive counterpart's decision to 'Get Out' with his timeless memorabilia if it meant that he actually got his hands on the trophy necessary to turn his dirty equipment into timeless memorabilia. Let's just hope Cam Jordan keeps doing what he does and uses that same hustle to swipe the ball from opposing quarterbacks, because the one thing that is true of all Super Bowl scandals is that you have to get to the goddamn Super Bowl to be a victim of them. I remain optimistic, but the 7-9 sunken place is a long ways off from that eventual inter-locker room investigation.
