Draymond Green Mockingly Calling Timeout For The Trail Blazers Is A Microcosm Of The Entire Series5/4/2016 This is no disrespect to the Portland Trail Blazers, but doesn't it feel like the Golden State Warriors are manipulating every single aspect of this series? It's like the game is on strings and Steve Kerr is just waiting them to pull them at the proper time. Obviously Draymond Green just signaled timeout on behalf of his opponent to rub in the fact that his team had just demolished a 9 point lead in what seemed like the blink of an eye. It's just ironic because at this point he could probably replicate the job that Terry Stotts is doing. That's not even an insult to Coach Stotts as much as it is a testament to how in control the Warriors have been of everything that is taking place on the floor. Even when Portland was up big and Damien Lillard was putting up points in bunches it looked like he was making the shots that his opposition actually wanted him to take. The same can't be said for Portland when Klay Thompson was finding open three after open three and shooting his team right back into the game. Steph Curry is out and it still seems like the Warriors are always on the brink of pouncing. Three possession leads feel like one possession leads when Golden State is on the other side of them. Lillard hit a monster buzzer beater to put his team up 11 entering the 4th quarter and it still felt like they never had a solid grasp on the game. Draymond Green might as well start making Portland's substitutions and picking their offensive sets, because he's got a better chance of beating himself than the Trail Blazers currently do.
