This video doesn't exactly provide me enough context to definitively say what I am about to say, but if you think I am going to go back research all inclusive USL soccer clips then you are beside your mind. Without knowing for sure, it looks to me like the guy in the pink got a red card after the guy in the blue dove to draw a call. Again, that's not factual but I have watched enough World Cup soccer 2.5 times per decade to know that that's basically the origin of every penalty kick. That's why I kind of appreciate what this scumbag was thinking when he used his cleat in an attempt to give his deceptive opponent scoliosis. If he was going to get tossed for taking someone to the ground then that person was going to feel the brunt of truly getting taken to the ground. I'm certainly not defending his actions, but you can bet your sweet ass that his actions will deter similar deceitful displays in the future. Guess who won't be violently throwing himself to the ground without contact anymore? That's right, the guy that just had three discs herniated through his rib cage. The next few weeks where he'll undoubtedly need help getting out of bed will definitely have him thinking twice about embellishing for an undeserved whistle in the future. Maybe, just maybe, the problem with soccer is that we don't have enough guys like Romeo Parkes upholding justice by punting the acting bug out of every player that's ever tripped over a blade of grass and temporality tore their achilles. h/t Rant Sports
