Okay fine. Maybe I took a few liberties with the headline. Lance Stephenson didn't actually admit that he did anything wrong (i.e. dumb). He did, however, prove that the holier than thou Raptors who felt so strongly about a garbage time lay-up that they were ready to fight with everything short of their fists are hypocrites. Now, I know that P.J. Tucker wasn't on the team at the time, but this is just proof that being morally opposed to the breaking of rules that aren't written is sure to make you look like an asshole. Two wrongs don't make unnecessary late game stat padding right, but treating those wrongs like they require vigilante justice isn't right either. Get on your high horse over some shit that is merely frowned upon, and a little bit of research is bound to get its legs chopped out from underneath you. Lance Stephenson justifying his obvious, intentional shit stirring with some random video that was sent to him after the fact is perfectly disingenuous behavior for someone like Lance Stephenson. Fortunately for him, the fact that it was so easy for him to do so speaks volumes about the stupidity of having the energy to enforce non-rule rules when you didn't have the energy to play through the final whistle.
