I guess a headline about anyone randomly deciding to casually yank at a college basketball player's shorts mid-game would be bizarre, but doesn't it being Morgan Freeman just make this story seem so much stranger? That would be odd behavior for a belligerently drunken student section stray, never mind the man that sounds so much like black Jesus that he once played him in a movie.
I legit just watched the most soothing voice of multiple generations reach out and make contact with an athlete during competition and I still don't really believe that it happened, and that's how I know that Morgan Freeman could legitimately get away with anything. If he had put a little more oomph into it and gotten that kid's attention then he would have shot around ready to throw blows and ended up instantly transfixed by the man that garners the exact same reaction as a picture of two puppies playing in a field. If I got stabbed in the back and turned around just in time to see Morgan Freeman wielding the knife and calmly saying "die bitch" before I choked on my own blood I would consider it a peaceful passing. I want to say the guy doesn't have an evil bone in his body, but he could be have a list of kills that puts O.J. Simpson to shame and his general demeanor would put me at ease around him. Morgan Freeman could have run out onto the floor and pantsed the point guard while he was shooting a game tying foul shot with .7 seconds left and I guarantee we would excuse it with nothing more than a smirk and an utterance of "oh, that Morgan". The guy would be given the biggest benefit of the doubt, but I doubt he would even need the benefit because all he would have to do is say something to make us forget about whatever it is that he did.
