Packers' Damarious Randall And Browns' Josh Gordon Got Into A Twitter Beef That Turned Dirty Quick12/11/2017
Talk about picking at the low hanging fruit. I mean, I honestly can't believe someone would use the deepest and darkest habitual flaws of a professional athlete to make themselves look better in front of the general public. Especially after he's done everything in his power to correct them and put them in the rearview. Just a despicable display from someone who is too talented to be delivering pot shots at his peers. Now, in reading that last paragraph you probably thought I was referring to Damarious Randall's abuse (no pun intended) of Josh Gordon's extensive history of hardcore drug use as a punchline towards a wide receiver who (presumably) just played the second sober game of his NFL career. That said, it could just as easily be in reference to Josh Gordon's abuse of his crappy quarterback's inability to the throw the ball anywhere within a superhuman catching radius that couldn't even be limited by pre-game vodka. No doubt it's a low blow to prod at a demon as personal and debilitating as addiction when bickering about stats, but I bet Deshone Kizer feels pretty haunted by whatever is living in his head that told him to launch the eventual game-clinching interception straight up into space...
I suppose it's better to have your lack of talent joked about than having someone D.A.R.E to question your ability to stay away from the enslaving substances that have taken ownership of your entire livelihood, but it should be considered that Josh Gordon willingly entered this beef whereas Deshone Kizer did not. You tell another grown man he can't hold your testicle protector then he might make light of the fact that you haven't needed one for the last three years. It's a dirty move, but one that is only slightly more frowned upon than subtly trashing your quarterback of two games as a justification for your drop-off in usage.
