Ryan Reaves Blowing The Dallas Stars Bench A Kiss Was The ONLY Way Last Night's Game Could Have Ended

There's an old saying that goes a little something like this, "if you're going to fuck us then at least kiss us first". Actually, that's not so much a saying as it is a thing that fans drunkenly slur at the officials after a call goes against them, but that's not the point. The Blues bent the Stars over the barrel last night and gave them a pounding for the ages. Ryan Reaves may have saved his show of affection for after the sodomy, but at least he sent a little love their way before taking off and leaving the Dallas Stars to wallow in their own shame. It was cocky, it was arrogant, and it was the ONLY way he could have possibly left the ice after dragging Curtis McKenzie's lifeless body around the rink like he was trying to cover up an elevator altercation. The Stars got emasculated last night, and nothing will remind them of that quite like watching Ryan Reaves blow them kisses as he skated off into the locker room a 6-1 victor. They won't have to dig too deep in the archives to find some billboard material. Probably replay that entire scene during game study just to motivate them not to lay down and die like they did last night. All I know is that the only thing that can be gained from a blowout loss in the NHL playoffs is a desire for vengeance that stems directly from an excessive level of embarrassment. Make no mistake, the Stars left the arena embarrassed. That should have all hockey fans very excited for Game 4, because even Ryan Reaves' teammates know the series long shitstorm he just stirred up...
