I'm not crying, YOU'RE CRYING! Oh, who the hell am I kidding, you'd have to be jerk for your ducts not to get at least a little dusty while witnessing a unmistakable reminder that the bonds formed in and around NFL locker rooms are bigger than football. Saints' legend Steve Gleason, or your newest recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal, going out of his way to offer former Saints' safety Malcolm Jenkins an encouraging word and a show of admiration almost...almost...makes me forget how fun it was to watch the latter's team lose. Sean Payton himself said it was a mistake to let the first round pick turned Super Bowl Saint walk, so if there ever were an opposing player deserving of sympathy from the most motivational of Saintly sources then it's the guy that won his breakup with New Orleans after, more or less, getting dumped against his desires. Especially since the Who Dat Nation - and more specifically, a profound pillar of it's supportiveness - has got love for anyone that contributed to the first ring in franchise history, even those that got rolled over in the quest to attaining a second one.
