Okay, I need someone to tell me I am not crazy. So let's assume for a second that Geno Smith has a Nokia phone from the 1800's. That's a given, because everyone's phone should automatically change time zones in 2014. Maybe Geno has some kind of hipster attitude toward technology. Either he doesn't have a smart phone, or he is one of the 2% of people that can actually go 3 hours without peeking at their phone. That's all I got.
So now, even if I give him that benefit of the doubt, his explanation is still wrong. So he missed a meeting on Saturday night. Let me try to build a hypothetical here. Let's say they landed in San Diego on Saturday morning. If the meeting was at 8PM Pacific Saturday night that means it was at 11PM Eastern Time. The right way to count the hours would obviously to count back 3 hours. So if Smith simply counted the wrong way like he said he did, doesn't that mean he would have been like really early for the meeting? He obviously would have thought it was currently 3 hours later than it was, correct? Geno Smith is so dumb that he making me dumber just by being in the same hemisphere. I don't even know what I just said. In my brain it made sense though. Given his testimony, he should have been ridiculously early for this meeting. I am sticking to that. Geno Smith went to West Virginia so I guess I kind of have to cut him some slack for being a fucking moron. Pretty sure the average BAC there is higher than the average GPA. Not that there is anything wrong with that. However, he missed this meeting with other players too. So you are telling me that not one of those players knew anything about changing timezones. Or was Geno just that convincing in his nonsensical explanation to them? Did they all just say 'well, he's the QB, he's got to be right'? Probably a bad approach to take when you are talking about a bottom 3 starting quarterback in the league. Might be time for bed. Geno Smith just scrambled my brain by being an egg head.
