"Our stadium has been very loud at times and we’ve got sometimes a great crowd, sometimes we don’t have a great crowd." You should have known this was coming Patriots' fans. When your superstar quarterback marries a supermodel things are bound to change. The blue collar, 3 time Super Bowl winning quarterback has traveled down a dangerous path. He wears Uggs. Uggs are more feminine than heavy flow maxi pads. He prances down red carpets with his millionaire wife. He has hair plugs. As a balding male myself, I feel it my job to declare that hair plugs are okay 0% of the time. Just ask Larry David… He is a prima donna now, and there is no going back. You think during the Super Bowl years Tom Brady would have denounced his own fans? No fucking way. He would have blurted out the 'company line' about how New England has the best fans in all of sports. That's what the face of your franchise is supposed to say, even if it a load of crap.
Is this Tom's way of getting the pressure off himself? For the first time some people actually think Brady's skills are diminishing and that the Patriots run is finally over. I don't think this is the case whatsoever. Sure they have looked like shit for 4 games, but that's a small sample size. Combine that with the fact that their offensive line is terrible, and it is rather hard to get a good read on whether Father Time is catching up to Brady. Regardless of whether he is on the downside of his career or not, there is no doubt Tom Brady's attitude has changed. He didn't high five backup QB Jimmy Garopollo after he lead a late TD drive against the Chiefs, despite high fiving many other members of that very same offense. And now he is shifting attention and blame to his own fans after failing miserably in front of a raucous Chiefs crowd. Not very leader like, Mr. Brady. Not very leader like at all. Also, while the Patriots don't have the greatest home field advantage in the world, it certainly isn't the worst. They may not be New Orleans, Seattle, or Kansas City, but they are probably somewhere in the middle of the pack. That's partially because they get every call in New England, but also because Boston is home to a very loud and proud fan base. So loosen up your bow tie Tom, and get some more reps in. You can't blame everyone but yourself for a miserable start to the year. Also, Didn't Brady say he would retire when he sucks? What is the time frame on that suckage? 4 games? 8 games? A season? Because I could get used to seeing a lot less of Tom Brady as of yesterday.
