NewNowText- A father allegedly posted a lengthy homophobic rant to Facebook after his son’s school put on a play about two princes falling in love.
Julian Marsh took to social media to complain about the play after his son came home from school one day saying that he had “learned about gays.”
In his post, he railed against the school, saying that anyone who tries to promote PC sex talk with kids younger than 11 are depraved and border on pedophilia.
Okay, so it may be a little aggressive to imply that the 'Head Mistress' - which I assume in some country far, far away just means 'Principal' - might be a dyke, and his argument went a little off the rails when he started talking about pedophilia. However, parents are inclined to get a little emotional when discussing the education of their children. That doesn't mean this guy wasn't on the verge of making an excellent point. I have no problem with children learning about homosexuality. It's prevalent enough in our society to justifying it's teaching as young as elementary school. It's not the curriculum that concerns me, it's the implementation of it.
Have you ever seen a gay prince? I know I haven't seen a gay prince. Now all the sudden we have TWO gay princes in the same children's play? That script doesn't mesh with reality. What's this woman's motive? Is she trying to teach children, or have them reenact her homoerotic fantasies? Why can't the gay princes be gay fashion designers? Why can't they be gay interior decorators? I'd even accept gay firemen, but gay princes? What, a couple British dudes speak eloquently and dress well and all the sudden they are sucking each others dicks? Be more stereotypical lady. What kind of message is that to send? These kids are going to graduate 6th grade having only learned that the Royal Family is just one big incestual gay orgy. They didn't learn anything about "the gays". They learned what the world is like in "the gay's" dreams. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but they are going to find themselves mighty confused when they see Prince William rubbing Kate Middleton's pregnant belly. An educator's job is to help kids better adapt to the world around them, and unfortunately - no matter how many animated movies you watch - this world doesn't currently have gay princes.
