A Man Tried To Steal An Ambulance While Wearing Roller Blades, And I Kind Of Respect Him For It10/15/2015 Metro- A man has been arrested after attempting to steal an ambulance while wearing rollerblades.
Police were called to Gwinnett county in Georgia, US, to reports of a crash on the evening of October 11. As officers collected information they noticed an ambulance move back slowly. It rolled down a hill before smashing into a brick wall. When police ordered the driver to get out he began kicking them with the rollerblades. Brandon Demarcus Moore has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, interference with government property, obstruction of an emergency medical technician and obstruction of a law enforcement officer. Look If you had One shot Or one opportunity To seize everything you ever wanted In one moment Would you capture it Or just let it slip? I can't, in good conscience, sit here and tell you that stealing an ambulance is the most noble goal, but you know what? Everyone wants something different out of life, and for Brandon Demarcus Moore that something was to go for a joyride in an emergency vehicle. I, for one, appreciate him doing his damnedest to make that happen. It's not too often that an ambulance is just going to be sitting there unattended, ripe for the taking. Timing isn't always perfect in life, and it just so happens that his opportunity came when he was in the middle of a nice skate around the block. What was he to do? Miss his chance. Potentially let it pass him by as he wasted time untying (let's be honest, probably unclipping) his skates? This guy may be a terrible human being that was probably under the influence of drugs, but don't say he's not a go-getter. Don't say he's not a dream chaser. Just because he doesn't have the same goals as you, or I, or anyone with a fully functioning brain doesn't mean that he lacks ambition. It just means that he lacks the coordination to put that ambition to use when he's got some wheels on his feet. At least he gave it a try. A particularly porous, high risk, low percentage try, but a try nonetheless. You only regret the chances you never skate, or something like that...
