A Shirtless Jordan Hill Chats With A Cop After Getting Pulled Over Driving 107 MPH

I got to be honest. Little disappointed with this video. Maybe that's an indictment on me for hoping that these interactions go sour, seeing as they are far more entertaining that way. Maybe it's an indictment on society for how much it takes to keep our attention now a days. Either way, I am pretty sure Sheldon Richardson can take notes on how to handle getting pulled over while going over 100 MPH. 

Is the new thing to not only get pulled over driving at obscene speeds, but to do so in the least inconspicuous fashion possible? I think we all have a shameful moment in our past where we have driven after drinking a little too much. What's the first thing you do when you get in the car after one too many beers? You start trying to reteach yourself the steps that you are supposed to take when getting in a car before starting it. You buckle up your seatbelt. Check your blind spots. Make sure the car is running smoothly. Generally avoid anything else that could get you pulled over. You know, like driving topless. 

Now I am not saying that Jordan Hill having his shirt off had anything to do with him getting pulled over, but it certainly didn't help his cause either. You never get the benefit of the doubt when you are shirtless in a public place other than the beach. Think about every time you have seen someone getting arrested with no shirt on. No matter what race that person is your first thought is always "ugh, typical". If you can't get into a Dunkin' Donuts without a shirt on than you probably shouldn't be driving your car like that either. There's just no good that comes out of it.  Especially if there is 99.9% chance you are going to end up pulled over. A black man with dreads, with no shirt on, in basketball shorts pretty much deserves to get cuffed. You just can't cater to that many stereotypes, all at once, and not end up in the back of a squad car. Maybe next time wear a button down and some jeans. Something that makes you look busy. If you are going to drive recklessly than dress respectably. There are only so many places you could possibly be going when you are half dressed, and none of them have a strict arrival time.
