They say the best characteristic that someone can possess is the ability to laugh at themselves. If nothing else then Browns fans will always have that, because I would imagine that laughing is the only way to avoid crying. I don't even know where to begin. "COMPLETE SEASON!" in the overly enthusiastic informercial voice was perfect. Matt Hasselbeck getting the 'South Park' treatment combined with the sound clip of an old man saying "please just let me die" legitimately made laugh out laugh. The reminder not to miss Dwayne Bowe's 6th catch a Cleveland Brown? Signing and cutting Terrell Pryor 5 more times? Including tickets to "two mandatory preseason games at absolutely full cost"? I know I'm basically just recapping the most hilarious aspects of this satirical YouTube video, but sometimes there is nothing funnier than the truth.
I think the Browns are the only team in the league that actually have NOTHING to look forward to. Even the most optimistic fan can't believe they'll be hiring a competent GM. I don't care if your glass is completely full, as a Browns fan you can't have faith that they'll bring in a head coach or a quarterback with staying power. The best part of this past season for Browns fans was Gary Barnidge, a guy that had 44 catches and 3 touchdowns in his previous six years in the league. The fact that he was able to double those numbers in a single season with Cleveland, of all teams, should probably be enough to get him immortalized via statue outside of the Dawg Pound.
