Barack Obama Is Going On 'Bear Grylls', And THere's A Petition For Him To Drink His Own Piss

DailyDot-  News broke earlier today that President Barack Obama will appear on an Alaska-based episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls. And it only took the Internet a few hours to turn the whole thing into a joke about drinking pee.

“If there's one thing we all know about Bear Grylls' techniques, it's that they mostly involve drinking his own urine,” reads a new petition on the White House website. “And so: We ask that Obama do the right thing and drink his own urine during a taping of Running Wild with Bear Grylls. For science. The people demand it.”

During his appearance on Running Wild, Obama will investigate the effects of climate change while on a "trek through the wilderness" of Alaska with Grylls, according to a press release from NBC. As Grylls would likely tell you, anytime you venture into the wilderness, there's a chance things can go wildly wrong.


You know who should be forced to drink their own urine? The people that are wasting their time to start a petition asking for the leader of the most powerful country in the world to drink his own piss. Other than them, the only people that should drink their own urine are people that want to drink their own urine. You know who is included in that demographic? Bear Grylls. That dude just loves the taste of yesterday's beverage. No other explanation for it. We are talking about a guy who goes around intentionally putting himself in supposedly 'dangerous' situations. The camera guy is undoubtedly downing like three Perrier's per hour, but Bear Grylls just can't wait to relieve himself and then subsequently hydrate himself. I get it. It kind of takes away from the entire purpose of the show if Bear Grylls is standing their wastefully showering himself in Poland Spring. However, some room temperature apple juice and some fancy editing could get the same result, no? 

Barack is a man of the people and as a man of the people I want him to act how any normal, rational motherfucker would act. That doesn't include pissing into his mouth for the sake of the camera. I would hope the only time Barack would do such a thing is if his life were actually on the line. Let us consider that he's the President of The United States and he's being thrown into the wilderness with a lunatic, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the proper precautions have been made so that he doesn't have to dehumanize himself by drinking from his own fountain. I know there's a lot of people that irrationally hate Obama and would love to see him suffer, but the day we have POTUS pissing in his own cup is the day our reign as a world leader has officially come to an end. So I ask you this America (and more specifically Republicans), is it worth it?
