LBS- A week after information came out about Art Briles covering up assaults proving that he knew about them, we’re learning that Baylor’s recently hired strength coach Brandon Washington was fired after being arrested for soliciting a prostitute.

The Waco Tribune reports that Washington was arrested Saturday morning at a hotel on a misdemeanor solicitation charge. He was arrested as part of a sting operation.

Baylor moved to fire the coach immediately after learning the news.

Baylor is trying to get over the scandal that led to the ouster of Art Briles and many other school and athletic department officials. A recent lawsuit alleged that as many as 52 sexual or domestic assaults were committed by 31 players from 2011-2014.

Hey Baylor, don't look now but your conscience is showing and it appears guilty as all hell! Poor Brandon Washington must feel like he was hired under false pretenses. Probably figured the one benefit of coming to Waco was that he could feel free to scratch his promiscuous sex itch. He basically showed up at 'The Purge' and they immediately started handing out tickets for jay walking. We are talking about a program that hid FIFTY-TWO RAPES over the last four years, and now the new guy can't even get a consensual, properly reimbursed nightcap?! Talk about cold turkey. I would think that the funding of streetwalkers would make a nice little "nicotine patch" of sorts for a school that was addicted to forced penetration. Sure, having college coaches slowly driving down the main drag on the bad side of town in the wee hours of the morning is definitely still a problem, but Rome wasn't built in a day and I would assume the institution of a zero tolerance policy at Baylor would take at least as long as the construction of the Vatican City.

A handful of text messages that fully enabled a felonious culture must have really made a mark. It feels like just yesterday there were people lining up for Art Briles' t-shirts and now assistant coaches can't even pay agreed upon sums of money to get their pipes cleaned without having to hop on the first bus to the end of the unemployment line? Whew, I guess they are really trying to keep that moral compass pointing North. I'm sure the termination of the first guy to engage in an act of fornication that didn't result in tears and traumatization was all they needed to do to get people to stop considering their campus anything other than hell on Earth....or at least this guy thinks so....
