Charles Barkley Says He Wants To Shoot The 10% Of Fans That Are Jealous And Angry

Only Charles man, only Charles. What other television personality could get away with saying, completely seriously might I add, that he wants to shoot fans? Just take one out of every ten people in the building behind the barn and put a cap or two in them, for the betterment of the majority. He's the only person that can get away with intentionally saying ridiculous shit on a consistent basis. Now, he is 100% right. If anything, saying that 10% of fans deserve to die is the undersell of the century. If you don't agree that the world would be better off without the worst 10% of sports fans then you are probably part of that statistic. However, being right has never a deterrent to criticism. Especially in today's day and age. In fact, most of time when people get themselves in trouble they are just finding offensive ways to speak the truth. There's a better chance of someone getting away with saying the absurd when it is patently false. A polarizing viewpoint sparks way more debate than a completely erroneous viewpoint. 

This comment stems from Johnny Manziel throwing a water bottle at a fan that was continually  harassing him at a golf tournament yesterday. While it's been easy to pile on Johnny Football, of complete fault of his own, I am not going to sit here and say that I wouldn't do the same thing in his position. Yeah, athletes are paid handsomely not only to perform athletically but to deal with the attention that their profession breeds. However, I'm sure after a while it gets nauseating. Especially when it is happening while attending a golf tournament, the one place where you should be free from unwanted background noise. If Manziel wants to toss a Poland Spring at a fan then I endorse his right to do so. Hey, at least he didn't give him what Barkley thinks he deserved, a couple rounds to the torso. I don't know how he built up the media tolerance that he has, but goddamn it I am jealous of Chuck's ability to say literally whatever the fuck he wants.
