DelRea Good Facing Felony Charges for Refusal To Pull Over On Poorly Lit Road

Inquisitr- The 52-year-old nurse was driving on an abandoned street with no lights. So, of course, she felt uncomfortable pulling over abruptly. However, she did state that she slowed down and turned on her hazard lights. She also rolled her window down and waved to inform the officer that she had no plans to flee. According to the Daily Mail, Good drove half a mile to a lit parking lot before bringing her vehicle to a halt. Now, she’s been charged with resisting arrest for not stopping immediately.

Although she didn’t see anything wrong with her actions, the officer definitely felt otherwise. As a matter of fact, he wasn’t too happy once he did stop. During a brief interview, she recounted her interaction with the officer, reports NWI Times.

“‘What in the hell are you doing? I could arrest you for this,’ the officer reportedly said.

‘I don’t care who you are I don’t have to stop on a county road, I’m a single female,’ Good allegedly replied.”

Let's just ignore that this woman decided she would be at risk by pulling over on an abandoned road with her only company being someone that carries a gun and is sworn by law to look out for her safety. I don't have as much of a problem with this woman continuing to drive to a well lit place as I do with her saying she did nothing wrong. 

Such a chick move. Did she do anything worthy of a felony? Depends who you ask. Any rational human being that doesn't have an authority complex? No, she didn't. An officer of the law? You bet. You probably won't find "being a condescending bitch" in the county bylaws, but you can trust that it's an unwritten regulation. Telling a cop "I don't care who you are" may as well be a felony, because it is going to get you booked every single time. It's the equivalent of telling a cop he has a small penis. That statement brings them back to every girl that's ever dumped them or told them 'no'. It brings them back to every time they were the butt of a joke. It reminds them of every single moment of emasculation they have ever endured. Don't poke the bear and don't instigate the superiority complex. 

Here's a little lesson from the gender that is never granted any roadside leniency: Just pull over and use your big girl manners. You may not be wrong, but you aren't the authority on who gets to make that decision. Bite your tongue, take your ticket, and let out a cornucopia of epithets once the officer is out of sight. Feminism means we are all treated the same, correct? Well then females better learn that having a vagina might not be enough to get you off with just a warning anymore. Time to learn that you can't just talk to police officers like they are an inconvenience. Don't get me wrong, most of the time they definitely are, but you can't imply that directly to their face. Acting like a dick to a cop isn't a crime, but I assure you that it will help them find something that you did that resembles one closely enough.
