Doc Rivers on what he expects from Paul Pierce with Clippers: “Well, hopefully make some shots when we are up 20 in the fourth quarter."

You see, this is why they attach that '4E' on to the end of 'BFF'. Besties aren't temporary, they are for life, duh. Reunittttted and it feeeeels so good. Already back to their old antics. Just making sport of each other to the media. I bet if Paul were in the room when he said this he would have tackled him to the ground and they would have engaged in a friendly, lighthearted, completely heterosexual, wrestling match. Just bros being bros, nothing to see here guys.. Money can buy you a lot of things in sports. Shit, it pretty much bought the long awaited reunion of Doc Rivers and Paul Pierce. However, the one thing it can't buy is on full display right here. That thing is chemistry and they've got it oozing right from their shit eating grins.

Not only is Paul Pierce cool under pressure, but he has a definitive idea of what his Head Coach/BFF4E wants out of him. That is priceless given the Clippers epic collapse last year, and the fact that they are a team that features a lot of new faces this year. With all the talk of the disdain between Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan during this offseason, it's good to know that there is one love affair whose longevity we won't have to question. The Doc told me that nothing maintains a healthy relationship like 'The Truth'.
