I don't want to focus on the fact that Casey Anthony probably would sounded more convincing declaring her love for babies than Donald Trump just did. That's mostly because politicians almost always become unnerved around children. Hell, half the reason that Bill Clinton is so beloved and revered is because he had the ability to kiss a black baby without turning it into a scene so cringeworthy that it would cause the viewer physical pain. I also don't want to criticize Donald Trump for turning around no more than 60 seconds later and kicking a crying baby out of the room for interrupting his speech. I think anyone that's been within a 5 row radius of a crying child on an airplane can attest to my reasoning there. What really concerns me about this video isn't anything that Donald Trump said, but what I was convinced that he was going to say. Once that unbelievably painstaking diatribe about the value of babies came to a conclusion and Donald Trump proclaimed "China, when they devalue..." before taking a short pause I JOLTED out of my seat. I couldn't have been more sure there was some insanely antiquated rant about the Chinese sending unwanted baby girls down river in picnic baskets. That's the point we have gotten to with his campaign. I have begun EXPECTING something so far beyond unexpected to come out of his mouth every time he opens it. Full disclosure, I was a little disappointed in Donald Trump for missing such an obvious transition into a bigoted, irrelevant joke at the expense of another worldwide superpower. If I had to listen to him blabber on and on about babies then I should have at least gotten one completely asinine soundbite out of it. Just goes to show that the entirety of his stupefying campaign is calculated, because if he was really as intolerant of an asshole as he portrays himself as he would have totally "went there" involuntarily.
