Female Teacher Sleeps With Underaged Student And Gets Only 30 Days For 'Dangling Candy"

Huffington Post-A former Pennsylvania teacher caught having sex with a 17-year-old student was handed a 30-day sentence by a judge who described the woman as "dangling candy" in front of her teenage victim.

Ginnetti pleaded guilty last year to sexual assault and disseminating sexually explicit materials. The maximum sentence for the two crimes was seven to 14 years behind bars, Philly.com reports. Instead, Judge Garrett D. Page gave the woman just 30 days of jail time. Ginnetti will also have to register as a sex offender.

At her sentencing hearing last Friday, Ginnetti cried in court while reading a letter of apology. The judge then compared explicit photos of the woman to "dangling candy" in front of her victim, the Bucks County Courier Time reports.

“What young man would not jump on that candy?” Page said.

"I don't believe you're a bad human being," Page told Ginnetti. "You did a bad act. So I have to punish you."



​Call it the chromosomal tradeoff. Women have to push living human beings out of compartments unknown and generally get paid less for the same jobs, but they also rarely have to pay for drinks and walk away with a slap on the first when they sleep with their 17 year old student. Both genders have to experience some double standards. Just like there are bunch of women out there clamoring for equality in pay, there are probably bunch of male statutory rapists behind bars clamoring for equality in sentencing. Can't win 'em all. 

Are we really going to place full blame on this woman for sleeping with a 17 year old student? I blame the school. Any school that could watch this dance performance and not realize there was probably some extra curriculars going on behind closed doors no longer deserves to open their doors. That was the most sexual thing I have seen at a high school since the girl on PornHub was trying to pass chemistry. Surprised she didn't run off stage and jump on to the first dick in the vicinity. That dance screamed pent up sexual energy. It was a cry for help that went unanswered until this unknown 17 year old unleashed her from the shackles of her sexual imprisonment. 

Assistant District Attorney Sophia Polites said the teen's grades dropped significantly following the incident, and that even today he has trouble in social interactions."He had a point in his life that was dark," Polites said.

It's a good thing this article didn't attach a name to the beneficiary of some grade A teacher poon, or I would get locked up for beating his little ass. Talk about first world problems. There are kids starving in Africa. People getting laid off across this fair nation. ISIS is chopping off heads faster than Lorena Bobbitt. Meanwhile this kid is crying about sticking to it one of the sweetest piece of 'dangling candy' I have laid eyes on. The thing about indulging in candy is you might develop a sweet tooth. Only reason this kid should be crying is because he reached his sexual peak at 17. Save those tears for when your life actually sucks princess.
