Former Steelers Safety Ryan Clark Says Trent Richardson Is The Worst Running Back Of All Time

BSO- “I have no reaction, because this should’ve happened a long time ago,” Clark said. “Trent Richardson is the worst running back of all time — all time. There’s a freshman that goes to University High in Baton Rouge, La., named Michael Hollins that I would take on my team right now in the NFL before I got Trent Richardson.”

Holy shit Ryan, take it easy dude. Did Trent Richardson fuck your wife? Did he murder your children?
Why you gotta be so rude? Don't you know he's human too? Honestly, I get that Trent Richardson sucks, but man, oh man, that seemed unnecessary. His career is already over just three years after being drafted #3 overall and two years after being traded for a first round round draft pick. I think that fall from grace was far enough to shatter his spirit, we didn't need you to come over and stomp out whatever was left of his pride. I wouldn't say some of those things about my worst enemy. Well, okay, that's a lie. I wouldn't say some those things about my worst enemy if there was a camera in my face and it was going to get broadcast to a billion people. That's better.

I remember when people, myself included unfortunately, thought that the Colts trading a first round pick for Trent Richardson was a good idea. He was coming off a relatively decent rookie season with a terrible team. The Colts running game was non-existent. What could go wrong, besides finding out that a guy that snaked his way to being selected third in the whole damn draft was actually really bad at running back. How many scouts lost their job because of Trent Richardson? I mean, an entire college career and one year in the NFL and no one realized that he was the worst running back ever? I don't get it. Obviously I couldn't tell at the time, but it's not my full time job to watch game tape and decide which players to spend millions upon millions of dollars on. The crazy thing is that it wasn't just one team. It would be one thing if you could play it off as 'the Browns being the Browns', but for the Colts to swoop in 12 months later and double down on him? Did he hit his head somewhere along the way and forget how to play football? As crazy as that sounds it actually makes more sense than him fooling two franchises into wasting draft picks on him. Poor guy just became the running back version of Jamarcus Russell. That's not easy for any man to swallow, so Ryan Clark, could you please stop trying to jam it down his throat?
