Madonna's Ex Is Getting Sued For Taking A Selfie With A French Poltician While He Was Sleeping On A Flight
DailyMail- French National Front founder Jean-Marie Le Pen is taking Madonna's ex boyfriend to court - for taking an unflattering selfie of the pair which led to defeat in key elections.
Mr Le Pen, now 87, was fast asleep on a plane when fellow Frenchman, Brahim Zaibat, 29, snapped him on the flight.
Mr Zaibat, a professional dancer who dated the queen of pop for three years, then shared the snap on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
It shows Mr Zaibat wearing a set of headphones and smiling broadly as he sits behind the politician, who has his eyes shut and mouth open.
Mr Zaibat then urged voters not to back Mr Le Pen's far right National Front (NF) party in the second round of regional elections in December.
'Let's all vote tomorrow to give them a knock-out blow, to preserve our brotherly France' wrote Mr Zaibat, whose father comes from a North African immigrant background.
Is it bad that when I originally read "Madonna's ex" I wasn't completely sure which person in the picture was being referred to? Admittedly I don't keep up with Madonna too much, but she seems like the type of person that's just as likely to be fucking a young black dancer named Brahim as she is a half dead French politician named Jean-Marie. I would imagine that if you lined up the entire cast of 'Crash' and asked me which person Madonna would be most likely to sleep with I would have about a 4% chance of being correct. Calling her taste in sexual partners eclectic would just be the really, really nice way of calling it ridiculously fucking random.
Anyway, I doubt that this picture at all contributed to Jean-Marie losing his election. I have a hard time believing that French voters are being persuaded by the social media accounts of some backup dancer. However, that doesn't mean he shouldn't sue this kid for all that he's worth. I understand that when you are a person of prestige, like the leader of a political party, you run the risk of being photographed when you aren't looking your best, but fast asleep on a plane should be off limits. Not only is there not a single person above the age of 3 that is photogenic while they are comatose, but no one should have to worry about their appearance on an airplane. As long as you don't take up more one than seat or smell like anything other than a average, well groomed human being than the airways should be a judgement free zone. You want to snap a picture of that crusty old conservative at baggage claim then add an extremely disparaging remark about his campaign then have at it, but you leave that man alone when he's in the sky. Not just because he's deserving of that respect, but because we are all deserving of that respect.
