I'm going to be honest with you. I've been trying my best, but the laughs have been pretty hard to come by the past week. The country is basically turning into a full on war zone, and we can't go more than 24 hours with hearing news or watching a video that just completely cleanses you of all hope for our future.
This though? This got me. A smile fought it's way past every frown worthy emotion scrolling through my head and crept it's way across my face when I saw Meek Mill slandering a random white guy - that has absolutely no connection to the Alton Sterling shooting - on Instagram. I guess on the surface it's not all that funny that he publicly incriminated a random truck driver of being a trigger happy cop. Nonetheless, somewhere along the line - probably right around the time that Drake absolutely ETHERED the entirety of his manhood - Meek Mill became an endless source of unintentional comedy. I can't help but laugh at every stupid thing he does, even if it's getting an uninvolved man lambasted all over social media. I suppose the fact that the innocent man has easily accessible selfies of him and his pistol online, a Trump campaign ad splashed across his Facebook, and the inability to get the deceased name right makes it easier for me to crack up at his expense. However - in the interest of full disclosure - I think I have gotten to a point where I am incapable of hiding my happiness when Meek Mill takes yet another 'L'. This has quite literally become the story of his life...
