Live look at everyone else reading this... You know, the real shame in this is that Mike Tyson's shoutout came on Twitter, and not on television. If there's one thing that I didn't know I needed to see until right now it's Mike Tyson trying to pronounce Cincinnati without it just sounding like a vowel-less clusterfuck of T's, H's, and N's. Hey, I agree with Geno Auriemma. It is inherently ridiculous to criticize UConn Women's Basketball for being "too good". However, if you wanted to chastise them for something it would be the fact that even the people that appreciate their dominance can't stomach watching their games. I'm happy that Mike Tyson - the man that once threatened to eat another man's children - is now progressive enough to appreciate female athletics, but clearly he's not going out his way to add to their ratings. If he was he wouldn't be mixing up two schools in completely different conferences just because they both start with 'C' and have close to the same amount of letters. He might not be the brightest bulb in the box, but he's still "with us" enough to be able to read the name of a University off a TV screen, and copy it into a 140 character blurb. At the risk of sounding sexist I have never considered women's basketball watchable, but it is most definitely unwatchable when a team is up 30 at halftime of the National Championship Game. So maybe we can't hate on Geno Auriemma for being too successful, but we can blame him for ostracizing former boxers that may want to catch a competitive lay-up contest every once and awhile.
