Well, it's official. I will never love a job as much as this security guard loves his. That may sound ridiculous, but I can't think of a profession that I would enjoy so much that I wouldn't stop doing it for 10 seconds to watch one of the best National Championship games ever culminate in the most dramatic of fashions just 20 feet behind me. That's will power right there. That's a sense of loyalty to his craft that not many people can say they possess. Watching a historic sports moment on a big screen when you are a mere glance over the shoulder away from living it in person. I think this would actually be a nightmare for me. Being in attendance, but being unable to say I watched it live. Hell, I would have been completely oblivious to the fans if that were me. Fire me if you want, because there are more security guard openings than there are unbelievable finishes to the NCAA Tournament. If i was this guy I would have completely forgotten about my job description. In fact, I probably would have gotten swept up in the moment and encouraged the rushing of the floor. There's just no better exclamation point to March Madness than back-to-back last second threes, and the fact that this guy had to have his back turned undoubtedly took a little something away from them, even if going viral for having the perfect reaction has temporarily filled that void.
