​I knew I liked this guy as soon as I saw him. I didn't know who he was, but I'll be damned if it didn't make total sense once I found out. A member of Oasis? One of the people responsible for 'Wonderwall'? I'd follow this man to the moon and back. 'Champagne Supernova' validates his opinion from now until forever. 'Don't look back in anger', just blindly agree with his opinion, because this man is a goddamn legend. A goddamn legend whose views on fame, and Kanye West, are completely legitimate.

Think about who Kanye West is for a second. He's a man who made his mark in music. That's where his fame spawned from. However, it's what he's done with that fame from music that is truly remarkable. He's a household name. Everything he does is news. He says what he wants, when he wants, and more importantly it's generally pretty fucking entertaining. Correct? No. Rational? Rarely. Entertaining? 100% of the time. That's what I want from famous people. Just do and say stupid things that will make me either love you or hate you. Musicians, artists, actors, and athletes that are just out there doing their job and pushing products on the side aren't what fame is about. Get that calculated bullshit out of here. Kanye West might be a hell of a business man, but one thing he is not is calculated. I know this because while his incoherent diatribes about God knows what somehow make him more dollars, the mathematics behind them don't add up to very much sense. For better or worse, Kanye West is an entertainer, and if you're not capable of entertaining outside of your area of expertise then what good is your popularity? Rock on Noel. Keep calling people "cunts", my friend, because while your flawless discography is what puts asses in the seats, it's your personality that keeps people on the edge of them.
