If you haven't made it to the conference finals there will always be people that say you can't make it to the conference finals, despite the extenuating circumstances surrounding the situation. With the black cloud of being a playoff choker engulfing you it might not be the best time to remind people that you have finished last every single year. I mean, he definitely hasn't finished first.
