So after basically holding him hostage to keep one of the most influential men on the planet, Mark Cuban, away from him...

....the Clippers played some video games together....

They are also playing video games inside DJ's house. One source who left the meeting said, "It's done. I wouldn't have left if it wasn't."

....and it appears everyone will be able to rest easy with DeAndre Jordan once again manning the middle for the Los Angeles Clippers. What a day Clippers fans. What. A. Day.

Alright everybody goodnight! pic.twitter.com/cME0rFR5LC

I wrote earlier that this was kind of a scumbag move on the part of the Clippers organization. However, when the player that is being poached approaches you expressing uncertainty surrounding his decision you have no choice but to spring into action. It's not going to make Steve Ballmer and Doc Rivers too many friends around the league, but sometimes you have to put feelings aside to do what's best for your franchise. Making sure DeAndre Jordan is their starting center is not only good for the franchise, but it once again makes the team a legitimate title contender.

On Monday DeAndre called Blake and told him he was having second thoughts. Then he called Doc. Now we're interpreting emojis. □□□□□

Well, it appears that the Dallas grass was only greener for a few days. Funny what being wooed and being wanted by a new group of people can do to a man. You know, until the dust settles after a holiday weekend and you realize what you had in Los Angeles not only wasn't all that bad, but had gotten better in the offseason. I can't criticize DeAndre too much for exhausting all his options, and falling victim to what I'm sure was an A+ sales pitch by Mark Cuban. However, landing back in Los Angeles was the option that made the most sense from day one. There may have been contempt between him and Chris Paul. There may have been a feeling of worthlessness on an offense that, first and foremost, features CP3 and Blake Griffin. But at the end of day, DJ is the 3rd piece of the big 3. No matter how limited he is offensively, he is still vital to the success of the Clippers. He still fits seamlessly into a personality filled locker room. Hell, it seems like it took all of a couple hours to turn DeAndre's home into the locker room. Didn't take too long for everyone to gel together again, and that's not something that is found too often in sports. It may not have been the best way to go about things, but Jordan is in a better position to succeed now than he was yesterday. Plus, it looks like the Clippers are already working to improve their team defense....

So far, Clippers able to keep everyone else out of house, including Cuban, agents. Everyone. They're in four-corners until midnight Eastern.
