There are a lot of people that hate PK Subban. There is a strong contingent that thinks he is an embellisher, which is true, to what level really depends on who you ask. Many people think he goes overboard with the showmanship, which is also true. He is one of the most polarizing people in the sport and rightfully so. I happen to a person that loves what he brings to the game both talent wise and personality wise, but I can see the why others would have a problem with him. With that said, PK Subban has also shown himself to be a pretty good dude off the ice and that goes in direct contrast to the cocky, even arrogant, persona that some think he perpetuates on the rink.
It's always cool to see professional athletes interact with fans no matter what the circumstance. It's even cooler when it's not set up by a charitable organization or done for publicity. Obviously, PK has done his fair share of those as well, but it's nice to see he still appreciates those that help pay his absurd salary when it's not required of him. It's awesome to see him take a minute out of his inevitably busy day to make a group of kids an entire childhood. Thought for a second he was just going to blow 6 in a row past him and shatter the kid's confidence. Good to see him throw him the youngster a bone or two. You may not like PK Subban, and I don't expect everyone too, but it's tough to argue that he doesn't leave his brashness on the rink. Off the ice he's actually a very good ambassador for the game.
