Really sad to see what this world has come to. Since when can't a guy just go for a nice, casual walk on a Sunday afternoon without having to worry about getting his brains turned into a hearty brunch scramble? Someone might want to let Deion Jones know that yesterday being the day of rest doesn't excuse him for trying to put his opponent to sleep. It's like showboating quarterbacks can't even take a breather and enjoy their surroundings without getting blindsided from head-on by pesky defenders that can't tell when someone is just trying to enjoy some me-time. Is there anything worse than the type of socially blind person that doesn't understand personal boundaries? Deion Jones might be a pretty good linebacker, but he's a 'Hall Of Fame' nuisance.
Are we really supposed to expect Cam Newton to ALWAYS be on the defensive when competing in a violent sport against some of the biggest, strongest people on the planet? Not even allowed to get a litttttle lost in the soothing sounds of tens of thousands of volatile drunk southerners and the intoxicating aroma of freshly cut artificial turf? With how self involved everyone is these days, we should be commending him for taking time out from running for his life to literally and metaphorically slow down and appreciate the process. After all, what good is a career in professional football career if you can't reflect on it mid-play while rubbing a desperation two point conversation in your opponent's stupid face? Seriously, we should start considering how much it sucks that Cam Newton may never be granted the luxury of fully enjoying his athletic feats without ending up flat on his back with a massive headache...
P.S. Pretty unbelievable to have the presence of mind to still extend the ball over the goal line while literally having a mind that was no longer present enough to continue playing.
