My biggest gripe with Dana White's endorsement of Donald Trump? The fact that he didn't preface it by warning the viewing public to grab a towel before we ended up with egg on every one of our faces. Seriously, all the people that openly disparaged Donald Trump because they like their Presidential candidates to be schooled in politics are looking pretty stupid right about now. All those that frivolously proclaimed that "anyone" could do a better job in office than the fear mongering bigot that panders to the uneducated? They simply didn't understand the qualities necessary to fill the position. I wasn't aware of this before but it turns out all you have to do is be a mildly supportive friend to be a good fit for the Oval Office. After all, if that weren't the case then Dana White surely would have went a different direction with this speech. On the surface Donald Trump's resume might not read like it belongs to someone capable of leading the free world, but that's only because the intangibles possessed by a good friend usually get tacked on at the end as filler. The idea that he "shows up" might not seem like much, but it's a far more commendable characteristic than it reads on paper. Those of us who are no longer in college realize that the list of people you can count on to give you a call and wish you well grows smaller by the day. So no, not just anyone could do a better job than Donald Trump, because not just anyone will congratulate a friend when they achieve a personal accomplishment, and really - that's all it takes to lead this country. Clean up, Aisle Clinton...
