In my mind, #Browns Terrelle Pryor is a lock to make this team. Natural pass-catcher and so much more.

#browns pryor on his pass to Benjamin: "they said it was wobbly and ugly. They said I've lost my QB skills. I told them I never had any"

Cleveland- In 11-on-11s, Pryor took the ball again from Josh McCown and fired a wobbling duck down the right sideline, where cornerback Pierre Desir could've picked it off but misjudged it. Travis Benjamin hauled it in for a TD instead.

"They said it was wobbly and ugly," Pryor said with a smile. "They said I lost my QB skills. I told them I never had them."

Well, you know what they say about jokes, they are all rooted in at least a little bit of truth. Just so happens that this joke was more of a fact with a laugh attached to it. Come on. Did anyone ever really think that Terrelle Pryor had the talent to play quarterback at the professional level. I know that recently a lot of mobile quarterbacks have successfully, to varying extents, transitioned to the NFL, but I don't think anyone EVER included Terrelle Pryor in the Colin Kaepernick/Cam Newton/RG3 category.

Hey, I can always get down with a player that is self aware. There is something to be said for someone that can make sport of themselves. Sometimes you got to be able to laugh at yourself when you flame out at a position you spent your entire life trying to master. However, I would have to imagine it's little easier to find your failures funny when, by all accounts, it looks like you will still be earning an NFL paycheck. Pryor showing NFL-level ability at wideout makes his inability to throw with any consistency whatsoever pretty hilarious, apparently even to him. It's like when your friend goes through a rough breakup. You got to wait until he gets back on a new horse, of equal or superior hotness, before he feels comfortable enough to find his last crappy relationship humorous. There's a time and a place for everything. Something tells me if a current Browns player made this same joke after Pryor was cut and trying to make the CFL as a quarterback it would be exponentially less amusing. Credit where credit is due. If there's anything more impressive than Pryor's inefficiency at quarterback it's his ability to effectively switch positions. Just remember, while it's all fun and games, it's only fun when you are still in the game.
