Ryan Tannehill Has Taken To Insulting The Practice Squad Because He Can't Even Beat Them

No wonder the Dolphins haven't been winning! They have been starting a 10 year old at quarterback! This explains everything. Can't win professional football games when your leader is just a 6'4, 220 pound petulant child. He's the adult version of the kid that plays Madden on 'Rookie' because he keeps getting picked off on 'Pro'. Ryan Tannehill is your little cousin that you have to let win so he doesn't quit playing. Actually, fuck that, he's your girlfriend that you have to quit arguing with because she will eventually win by saying something that is completely inappropriate and over the line. I'm all for fiery competition between teammates, but insulting a man's livelihood because he performed better than you in practice just seems like an overreaction. I am sure the defense wasn't exactly acting like a bunch of choir boys, but it's their job to get under Tannehill's skin and prepare him for what he is going to be facing every Sunday. Their job is to simulate game situations. I didn't see Tannehill talking shit to Darrelle Revis or Mohammed Wilkerson when they were forcing turnovers off of him, so players whose job it is to make him better should be no different. Probably not too much of coincidence that Ryan Tannehill played wide receiver in college. His preference to blame people other than himself for his own flaws is a classic prima donna move.

Hope you feel better about yourself Ryan. Hope mocking practice squad players made you feel like a man. I mean, I am not sure why it would, that "practice squad trophy" is one more trophy than you have earned playing against professional football players. Sure, you have that contract to fall back on, but the person that brings up finances when they get outdone athletically is a man that not only lost a game, but also lost his pride. Plus, if watching the games this year has shown anything it's that all your contract represents is a HORRIBLE decision on the part of the front office. I would tread lightly Ryan. Geno Smith got his jaw shattered over a couple hundred bucks, and it appears the Dolphins locker room is far more volatile than the Jets was. A man on the practice squad doesn't make much, and therefore doesn't have all that much to lose. You remind him of that and you just might get what's coming to. In case you needed clarification on what I am talking about it is an ass whopping. An ass whooping is what's coming to you, and not just on the football field like you are used to.
NFP- Frustrations have been mounting for weeks, and escalated Saturday during practice prior to the game. Philbin has also been struggling on how to handle his franchise quarterback, Ryan Tannehill, who had been getting rattled even in practice sessions. On Saturday during practice, Tannehill, after a couple of practice squad players forced turnovers, Tannehill made negative comments toward them, including saying: “Enjoy your practice squad paycheck, enjoy your practice squad trophy.”

Sources say this has been going on for the past few weeks as the practice squad players have been intercepting Tannehill and frustrating the former Texas A&M wide receiver turned quarterback.

The frustration for Tannehill stemmed from the entire situation as well as the Dolphins haven’t won a game since the season-opener. Tannehill is an extremely competitive person, and the struggles of the offense have angered him significantly.
