You can say whatever you want about ESPN, but don't say they are afraid of the hard hitting topics. When I woke up this morning I didn't even know that I needed to be reminded that random people on Twitter still anonymously use the 'N' word. That's what's great about the 'Worldwide Leader In Sports'. Just when you think you have heard enough about a particular topic they can always find one more nauseating way to regurgitate it. How would I every have gotten through today's game without a 'cam newton n*gger' twitter search? I think we all learned a valuable lesson. When you use the skin color of two quarterbacks to unnecessarily fabricate a race war then you need the entirety of two weeks to do so. Sure, you can make a little headway during those first 13 days, but it's that 14th day that really hammers it home. After all, what's a Super Bowl Sunday without segregative commentary? I am sure that by now we are all tired of discussing Peyton Manning's arm, Cam Newton's legs, Denver's defense, and Carolina's offense, but I will never get tired of the publication of racial slurs. Nothing brings shame to prejudiced people on the internet quite like broadcasting their bullshit on a larger scale. Not only is that the best way to humiliate them, but it's the best way for everyone else to prepare for a fun afternoon with friends. Why discuss football during football's biggest day of the year? That's no where near polarizing enough. Beer, wings, and bigotry...It gets the people going.
