The Texas Governor Thinks The Cowboys Defense Is Worse Than His Border Control

Ha, ​Leave it the governor of Texas to say something extremely controversial, and censor himself from using a cuss word in the process. The hypocrisy of conservatives will never get old. 

Anywaaay, this is one way to Governor a state I suppose. Me? I probably wouldn't take the opportunity, when your entire state is focusing on sports, to remind them of your failures as a governing body as well, but hey, what do I know about politics? Hey Greg, could you be more self loathing? I would think that someone in such a prestigious position would be more likely to focus on the positives. You know, like the fact that his favorite football team made it to overtime despite playing without it's three best players, or the fact that he runs a state that people are apparently desperate to get into. Take a little walk on the bright side for once Greg. At the very least don't remind people that they have bigger problems than football. You want to compound an overtime loss with the anger that Texans feel in regards to immigrantion?

Just when Cowboys fans that their Sunday night couldn't get any worse, they have to be reminded of those pesky Mexicans that keep doing the cheap manual labor that they don't want to do? Why don't you just joke about anti-gun laws while you're at it? Maybe go all in and tweet out your opposition to the confederate flag? Oh, tell them you're a vegan too. That should really get them riled up. Jesus, you're going to have a full blown mutiny on your hands Greg, and you'll have no one to blame but yourself. It's not that I can't see the comparison. In fact, as far as a analogies go, it's not half bad. The only problem is that it's target audience is the only group of people that aren't going to find it funny. I appreciate his ability to laugh at himself, but that ability is for naught when the people he's tweeting towards aren't laughing with him. 

And yes. Yes I do enjoy the picture that Greg painted of Drew Brees and Saints invading Texas and pissing off a bunch of entitled Cowboys fans in process. I would be lying if I said that mental image didn't have the sun shining a little brighter in my world this morning. Hey Greg, plenty of room for you to get in that number when the Saints go marching in...between the soft spots of your shitty zone defense...
